Blog Post Week 6
If photography was never invented, life would be so much different then it is now, for example, we wouldn’t have any history of our past or anything that shows us how the events in the past have affected our lives. People could make up lies regarding how history went. With photographic proof, we are able to decide what is the truth in situations where just word testimonies would fail. Photos also give us the ablilty to recall memories from our pasts possibly with friends, family, anyone essentially. When we use pictures we can rejoice in the past we had if our lives suck at the current time. If the photos are bad, then they shouldn’t even exist and photography should be limited to those with actual talent. Personally, I think photography is for the gifted only and we should keep it a secret . This way we could actually see how we would live without photos but in reality we would have photos just secretly. SSelfies are the scum of the earth. I believe that if photography was going to be taken from the world they would be the reason why. Without selfies our society would grow in a positive directon without vanity and self centered white girls who believe that if “ they did not Instagram it, it didn’t happen”. If we lived without photography this would be the one thing I would not miss. Capturing art is great and stuff but your ugly face is not art and that ratchet filter you put over it does not make it any better. Selfies look ridiculous and should be illegal. Without photography history would not be documented and we would live in a world of hear say and chaos. People would have no proof of events an our memories would have to get really good or else we would have no recollection of stuff. IN conclusions no selfies would be fine but I like art and that is not fine.
